I really like the unique idea of a cockatrice shifter. Cam was sweet and innocent, despite his fierce protectiveness and nature. I loved his relationship with Dylan and their sensuality, so I would recommend the romance. Just things got a little too bizarre and also rushed in the last 20%...So, 4 stars for the first 80%, 2.75 for the rest.
