The writing just seemed very...sub-par to me. I'm actually not sure if that was intentional or not, because I guess it fits the over the top feel to this book. There is something strangely...compelling about Angel and Kael, enough to make me curious to see the next book...Truthfully, I am glad I am borrowing this series, because I'm not sure if it's worth the $6+...
