I feel like I can't use the normal adjectives to describe this book-'amazing', 'incredible', ect. Because this is the darkest and bleakest stories I've ever come across. All I can say really, is that this was every bit as gripping as the first book. More so. It is a cruel, cruel, world for Dougie and Matt, and the desperate fervor by which they cling to their bond is heartbreaking to see.
I'm still not sure what it means that this series has so captured my attention and interest, but I do know that I am both highly anticipating and fearing the next installment to come.
