This was intense and gripping. A world with screwed up, sometimes brutal characters and an even more screwed up MC. This series took a turn into deep, dark, territory, and made it impossible to put down once I started reading. Blew the first book out of the water. I freely admit I have a full-blown addiction to Calyx and Black. One that rivals even my long cherished addiction to Sin and Boyd. Warning: scenes of non-con.
